Discussion Rules - Please Read Carefully

On-line discussions are very much like the "real" ones. Except that your thoughts gain even more meaning: once they are out there, a whole world can see, reflect and react to them. So, as the rule of thumb, we ask you to be professional and keep in mind that prospective clients can read your post at any time! Bring something valuable to the discussion and write as you would talk to us, face to face.

Here dos and don'ts in our discussions. TeamBiz editors will have to remove your posts that don't follow these rules.
  1. Be respectful. It's normal to disagree with others, but no matter how ticked you are, indecent, profane, obscene and abusive language, threats a.s.o. will not be permitted. Simply put, treat others how you wish to be treated.
  2. Please don't shout at us posting with ALL CAPS, or excessive typographic symbols. Instead, try to bring some useful information or comment on the subject - everybody will read it!
  3. Don't use our discussions to seek revenge. If you want to report a customer service issue with any other member's business, please contact that member's business or your Better Business Bureau.
  4. Do not post copyrighted material. We encourage you to provide valuable content including links to other online resources, but if you cite other sources, make sure that the owner of the content has granted you permission to do so.
  5. Do not spam, or post unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, chain letters, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes... you get the idea.
  6. We encourage you to create business connections, but excessive commercial solicitation, requests for investors or capital, or advertising that impedes the community experience for others is not acceptable. Solicitation of pornography or pharmaceutical drugs is also not allowed.
  7. Our discussions can be seen by anybody, so do not post any private information about yourself or your business that you do not wish to be widely available to others.
  8. Please keep in mind that some members may claim expertise or status that they do not, in fact, possess. For your protection, always seek independent professional advice from a person who is licensed in the applicable area, before acting on any advice posted on TeamBiz discussions.

We all want to be part of a great community where everybody wins. If you read and understand these rules, we would be happy to welcome you at our discussion table.

Also, please read TeamBiz User Agreement here.
