Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere. You can use this great platform to jot down notes, create to-do lists, snap photos, or grab a screenshot.

One of the great features of Evernote is its OCR on images that can be found later by searching for the text in them. For example, at a meeting ,you can take a picture of a whiteboard and you’ll be able to find it later just by searching for words on the board.

Everything you capture is automatically processed, indexed, and made searchable. If you like, you can add tags or organize notes into different notebooks that represent, for example, different aspects of your life (business, family, hobbies...).

Besides desktop, and web Evernote also works on your Blackberry or IPhone where you can easily create text, image, and voice notes. Whether it is a quick snapshot of a book cover or a business card, everything will be digitized into text.

Evernote can also work with other mobile and web applications (like Twitter, Shoeboxed or Officedrop) for a more efficient use of your time.

Evernote offers two account levels, free and premium. Free users have access to all the tools, recognition, and synchronization, but are limited to a 40MB monthly upload allowance. Premium accounts receive 500MB monthly upload allowances, SSL security, priority image recognition, and premium support.
