Formerly a Forensic Accountant, Joanna is an honours' graduate from university and has specialized in accounting, corporate year ends, CRA Audits/Compliance/Seizures and Forensic Accounting for over 15 years.  She retired from being a Forensic Accountant; then, she became the Accountant Engagement Lead of Canada for QuickBooks® - Intuit - for several years. 

While at Intuit, Joanna was the publisher/editor of ProConnection; an award winning tax eNewsletter for thousands of accounting professionals across Canada and for the Advisor Advantage, a national eNewsletter for thousands of QuickBooks® users. Not to mention, a top speaker for Intuit across Canada.  Now, she's back as Founder of Mortar Management Inc. and an Accounting & Forensic Specialist.
