Small business owners start with a specific skill or experience, but soon learn that they need many different skills to run a business effectively.

This causes them to spend excessive amounts of time doing things that they don't do well, causing frustration and long hours.

We focus on simplifying business processes that don't bring in revenue, so that business owners can dedicate more time to selling or delivering value for their customers.

Many small businesses also do not get good value from their investments in business software.  They often get only 5-10% back from their purchase.  By simplifying their business processes, we can automate the processes to reduce time and effort.

We look at your business goals, help you to articulate the vision, and implement processes that continue to support it.

Myself

I have spent much of my career in Information Technology, starting as a programmer, and moving into the management of large datacentres.

I have been consulting for 13 years, initially improving processes within large data centres, then working with smaller businesses that were struggling to get value from their IT investments.  In working with mid-sized companies, I found that business processes were the biggest limiting factor in getting value from software.

Recently, I have changed my business model from consulting to coaching, providing small businesses (< 5 people) with the ability to gain the advantages normally available only to large companies who could afford to hire consultants.

Because of my background in IT and business, I am comfortable talking to business owners and technical staff, allowing me to effectively translate business requirements into software solutions.
