New study shows Ontario and Quebec the least business friendly provinces

According to a new study in April by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Ontario and Quebec have the least business friendly tax systems in the country. The study takes into account 65 indicators in 5 major areas of tax policy to determine how provinces help or slow down small business growth. The highest scores were awarded to Alberta and New Brunswick.

What areas do you think can be improved in your province tax system? Where does it hurt you the most?

Should that be a surprise?  You can't suck and blow at the same time.  If you continually elect governments that look for ways to hit business up for money to spend on unnecessary social spending, it can't help but have a negative effect.  It's a well known fact to Quebec tax payers that the Quebec tax practices forced Quebecor  (a very large manufacture and printing company) completely out of the province except for a few office sites.  We have nobody to blame for it but ourselves, we put the anti-business people in Queens Park and other government centers.   You change things at ballot box not the whinnery.
