Springpad
Organize, share and remember things
Similar to Evernote, Springpad helps you organize and remember things, but several nice extra features makes it a good option especially for sharing and looking up stuff.
Springpad is a great choice for visual people. You can organize your notes into notebooks and manage tasks and your notes via a nicely designed cork-board. A notebook can hold various type of information: videos, tasks, maps, checklists etc. For example, you can create a notebook for a business trip and include information about your business partner, itinerary map, restaurants and hotels, tasks before meeting, a.s.o.
Lists of tasks can be arranged around the board in order of importance or timescale.
Your
notes can be made public and searchable, so you can share them with
other people or like them on Facebook. You can also see other users
notes and recommendations, feature that makes Springpad a nice option
for a business team. Notes can be also auto-populated with
information from online sources. For example, if you scan a barcode of
a book, Springpad adds the rest of the information like title, author
and even a link to buy it online.
Another excellent feature of Springpad is the reminder feature - you can set due dates and tasks so you never miss a deadline.
Along with the online version, the application is also available for Android, IPhone and IPad.
